This grave marker which is at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, located at
179 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey reveals that Vincent Mania served in the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II and died at the age of only 56. Vincent Mania was not on the Original Wall Unit List, but there were two other names John and Sam Mania who were listed on the Original Wall Unit and the name is a common one in Hackensack, so I have put him under Researched Veterans for that reason.

In the photo of the St. Joseph’s feast at the SSCC Hall, the man sitting next to my Grandfather is a Mr. Mania.  Vincent Mania also confirms his connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders since passing and forevermore.

Your grave marker confirms your service for which we are grateful.
